We are conscious that the company's success depends on a great
part of the well-being of our employees. Dufer
supports a child care facility which offers three meals a
day for more that 145 children, school help and medical attention.
In
addition, the packing plant is located in an ecological city,
Bahía de Caráquez, a beautiful small town located
in the north coast of Ecuador.
Empacadora
Dufer occupies a total area of 2000 m2 and has achieved
experience in the processing and exportation of shrimp since
1992. Our processes complies with the requirements of the
Regulations of the Procedure of the FDA 21 CFR 123 and CEE,
and have the approval of the FDA in the fulfilment of the
HACCP.
The
annual production of the plant is 9,000,000 pounds. The daily
capacity of production is 100,000 pounds.
